Proxy settings in Shadowrocket on iOS

Shadowrocket is an application designed for managing and connecting to proxy servers on iOS devices, including iPhones and iPads. It is primarily utilized for circumventing internet censorship, accessing region-restricted content, and enhancing privacy by directing internet traffic through a secure, encrypted connection. A residential proxy on a real household IP is the hardest to detect for that kind of censorship bypass and region access. To leverage this application effectively for your specific needs, configuring certain proxy settings is essential. For a broader overview of proxy usage on iOS, including setup, modification, and disabling, you can refer to proxy for iOS here.

  3. Enter the specific proxy details for iOS in the next window: input the IP address in the first line and the proxy port in the second. For private proxies, also enter your username and password in the subsequent lines.

  4. Tap the “Done” button, located at the top right corner.

  5. Finally, activate the connection. In the main menu, move the toggle switch next to the chosen proxy server to the right. Once activated, the geolocation data will be shown below.

By completing these steps, your traffic will be channeled through the newly configured proxy. You'll need to buy proxy access first to plug into Shadowrocket. This allows for anonymous internet surfing, access to previously blocked resources, viewing of censored content, and other activities requiring a proxy. On an iPhone, a mobile proxy on a real carrier IP blends in most naturally with normal mobile traffic.
